COVID-19 Update: 29 new COVID-19 cases reported on November 28

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 29 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 7,687 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 28 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 633,196 with 19,488 deaths and 607,709 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Germany, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:54 pm CET, 28 November 2022, there have been over 637 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.6 million deaths.
