COVID-19 Update: 31 New Cases reported at 8 p.m. on May. 7

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 31 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 954 lab specimens within 24 hours with 4 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals on 7th of May.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 142,934 with 132,004 COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 7th of May.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 32.21 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, the Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Germany according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 4:43 p.m. CEST on 7th of May 2021, there have been over 155.66 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.25 million deaths, reported to WHO.
