Covid-19 Update: Ministry Reports One New Covid-19 Cases At 8:00 A.M. On 14th July

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 353 lab specimens as the second batch.

Totaling 353 lab specimens were tested by the National Health Laboratory (NHL) and Public Health Laboratory (Mawlamyine) from 13th to 14th morning of July. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 336 with 6 deaths.

While 261 patients have recovered from the disease, 249 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine. The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, India, Russian Federation, Peru, Chile, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Islamist Republic of Iran, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:12 pm CEST, 13th July 2020, there have been over 12.7 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 and over 566,000 deaths, reported to WHO.
