Economic Affairs: Meeting of Central Committee For Special Economic Zone

The Central Committee for Myanmar Special Economic Zone held its meeting 3/2022 on Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw.
In the meeting, Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo called on attendees to continue systematic implementation of matters to improve Special Economic Zones in accordance with the Special Economic Zone Law, to ensure the smooth operation of Thilawa Special Economic Zone, to continue the necessary procedures related to the Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone Deep Sea Port Project and to discuss with Thailand for the successful implementation of the initial project and main projects in Dawei Special Economic Zone.
Also, attendees reported on implementation of sector-wise matters including implementation, operation and projects.
