Education Cooperation Week: MOE Union Minister leaves for China

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe left Yangon for China on Sunday to attend 2023 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week.

The Union Minister and party were seen off at Yangon International Airport by Deputy Minister U Zaw Myint, Rectors and officials as well as the officials from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Myanmar.

The China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week is scheduled to be convened from 28th August to 2nd September at Guiyang City of Guizhou province.

The Education Ministers from China and ASEAN member states, Rectors from the universities, high-ranking officials, scholars, diplomats, youths and representatives from countries involved in Belt and Road Initiative will join the event.

It could enhance the educational exchange and cooperation between Myanmar and China.
