Enhancement of Cooperation: SAC Chairman Received Australian Ambassador

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Australia Ms Andrea Marie Faulkner, who has completed her tour of duty, in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.
They discussed matters on further maintenance of good relations between two countries, enhancement of cooperation in various sectors between governments and peoples of both countries.
They also exchanged views on political progress in Myanmar, acts of CRPH, NUG and PDF terrorists in committing terror acts to undermine the administrative machinery and against the innocent people and educational, health and other government service personnel, plans to take legal action against those involved in the terror acts and those who encouraged the terror acts, efforts of Myanmar to strengthen the genuine, disciplined multi-party democracy and lead to the building the Union based on democracy and federalism.
The two sides also made discussions on implementation of the five-point consensus of the ASEAN by Myanmar as much as possible and taking action against terror acts under the international standards, arrangements being made to hold the dialogues, and distinct views for providing assistance to the government and that for the people in aid to the people of Myanmar via AHA Centre as some casualties happened in the outbreak of COVID-19 and conflicts in Myanmar.
