False allegations: False information on fire incident in Kalay spreading

The illegal exiled media outlet, Khit Thit is spreading false information that alleges and tarnishes the reputation of the security forces.

They claim that on the night of 17th March, a fire broke out at the District Irrigation Office and the District Forest Office in Kalay Township, Sagaing Region, where the security forces stationed previously. Regarding this news, according to a resident who witnessed the fire, it was caused by PDF terrorists. People attempted to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby houses were stopped and threatened by PDF members who claimed there were mines in the offices.

And, the people were forced to retreat. However, it’s important to note that there have been no security forces stationed at the District Irrigation Office and the District Forest Office for several months. These malicious media outlets are circulating false information, which only serves to mislead the public and undermine the stability and peace of the state. They fail to provide accurate and timely news to the people, opting instead to sow discord and confusion.
