Funding Implementation: Central Fund for Future of Government Employees

Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein presided over the Meeting (2/2023) of Implementation Committee on Central Fund for Future of Government Employees at the Ministry on Thursday.

In his capacity as chairman of the committee, the Deputy Minister stressed that implementing the central fund is a long-term project and it aims to develop the sustainable pension system. He also urged committee members to make preparations and add amendments based on the current situation and work undertakings in drawing draft.

Then, secretary of the committee clarified the work implementation, tasks to be carried out and draft, and the committee members made sector-wise discussions. Then, the committee chairman supplemented the discussion and concluded the meeting.

It’s reported that Implementation Committee on Central Fund for Future of Government Employees was re-established under the Order No. 199/2023 of the State Administration Council on the 8th of September 2023.
