The plantation of trees and plants were grown in township area and near along side of the Natmauk-Magway Road by the Dry Zone Greening Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. Natmauk township is located in dry zone, that’s why a total of 1,000 plants of Acacia catechu (Sharr), Indian Gooseberry (ZeePhyu), and Eucalyptus (Yu Ka Lit) which is suitable for the region have been grown in a large group.

Min Min Htike, Staff Officer, Dry Zone Greening Department (Natmauk) said "This plantation in a large group was grown started from 2020-2021 fiscal year with National Funding. It costs over 1,400 kyats per sapling. This plantation field has reached 18 months."

As the Dry Zone Greening Department (Natmauk), the plantation of trees and plants was started in 2020-2021 fiscal year and tree growing will be carried on. If the locals cooperate in plantation and preservation of the plants with the related departments, the plantation of the trees and plants for greening for drought area will develop more than the expect.
