Implementing tasks: Chief Minister inspects measures in Sri KestraPyu ancient city

Bago Region Chief Minister U MyoSwe Win together with the regional ministers and concerned officials inspected implementations on the guidance of the SAC Chairman Prime Minister at the Sri Kestra Pyu ancient city on 18th January. 

During his inspection, the Region Chief Minister and party inspected the old place of HsinKyone in the eastern part of Sri Kestra Pyu ancient city and called for cleaning the environs, setting up of monumental signboard, road signboard and better transportation access.

The Chief Minister and party then looked into digging of water fort in the eastern part of the palace and systematic keeping of excavated ancient utensils. From there, the Chief Minister and party observed thriving 10-acre winter sunflower seed plantations in Let Khote Pin agricultural camp in Pyi Township and presented a set of mobile solar to be used in the plantation.

At the Thayet Lein village in Padaung township, the Chief Minister and party looked into thriving 50-acre mixed sunflower plantation and urged officials to carry out summer paddy cultivation with irrigation system.

They then proceeded to Thuyetan village in Padaung Township and inspected 100-acre summer paddy cultivation to be implemented by the state economic promotion fund and stressed the needs on providing paddy strains and fertilizers that are necessary for local farmers on time.

Later, they inspected electric river water pumping project for 100-acre summer paddy cultivation, plan to laying concrete on the entrance road to Thuyetan village and feasibility survey for installing lift at the ancient historic Phoe U Taung Zedi.
