Joint Conference: Int’l Computer Applications & Future Computer And Communication

The Joint Conference on the 18th International Conference on Computer Applications (ICCA 2020) and the 12th International Conference on Future Computer and Communication (ICFCC 2020) began in Yangon on Thursday.

The ICCA 2020, organized by University of Computer Studies, Yangon under the Ministry of Education, provides a forum for the presentation of technological advances and current research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental and applied computing and technologies.  This year, ICCA 2020 is jointly held with ICFCC 2020.

Professor, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, Dr. Yutaka Ishibashi said "...ICFCC 2020 in conjunction with ICCA organized by University of Computer Studies, Yangon (UCSY). So, ICFCC focuses on the future computer and communications. So, this will be called for paper, professor and industry process. So, here to get the improved activities in Myanmar..."

Rector, University of Computer Studies, Yangon, Prof. Mie Mie Thet Thwin said “These joint conferences are to explore the research papers relating to IT in order to develop the economic sector of the country, to improve the quality of the products produced by IT research and to sharpen the teaching and researching skills of the teachers.” 

The ICCA 2020 has brought together leading engineers and scientists in computer and information technology from around the world. The joint conferences included talks, research paper reading session and workshops. 

Rector, University of Computer Studies, Yangon, Prof. Mie Mie Thet Thwin said “A total of 102 research papers on various important topics of IT like the big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and many others are presented and discussed at this event. Besides, a total of 6 keynote speakers will share a variety of important topics and issues on IT. Moreover, 3 Joint workshops on Natural Language Processing and Speech Processing, Server Security and Network Security and Geographic Information Systems are included.”

Professor, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, Dr. Yutaka Ishibashi said "...I visited Myanmar and then also visiting several universities. Actually so I gave a lecture and also give a talk on my research areas. So, they are very interesting my research areas. So, I hope to continue to support Myanmar universities especially so the computer studies..."

The joint conferences will run till the 28th of February. Both Conferences offer an excellent opportunity to learn and share the latest developments to interact with leading experts in the field to strengthen the research laboratories and universities.
