Meeting With Family Members: VSG met trainees, Tatmadawmen and families in Ba Htoo

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win held meetings with the Infantry Platoon Commander Trainees and cadets from Ba Htoo Station, Computer Diploma trainee sergeants from Tatmadaw (Army) Warrant Officers and Sergeant Training School, and the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Ba Htoo Station on separate occasion on Thursday.

The Vice Senior General said it is needed to make constant training for handling the military equipment skillfully in order to serve the national defence duty effectively. He stressed that Tatmadaw has been established systematically to meet the international standard.

It is needed to abide by the international laws such as Geneva Convention and Rules of Engagement (ROE). Likewise, the 60 Codes of Conducts for the guidelines of the Tatmadawmen include the conducts to be serve for the people and for the enemy. These conducts are in conformity with the codes of conduct for humanitarian ground accepted in the international community.

He continued that for the success of military operation, security and training mainly rely on the administration. The effective administrative system could help support the welfare of the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families. He urged all the concerned personnel to provide fair and balanced administrative system to maintain the existing unity of the Tatmadaw.

The Vice Senior General and wife Daw Than Than Nwe later coordinated requirements in response to the reports of the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families. The Vice Senior General also presented foodstuff for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families, and cash assistance for the maternal and welfare association.

The Sports gears were also provided for the trainees. The Vice Senior General and party later enjoyed the luncheon together with the trainees of Tatmadaw (Army) Warrant Officers and Sergeant Training School.
