MSME EXPO 2020: MSME Association (Yangon) Will Organize The Exhibition

“MSME Expo 2020” will be held at Fortune Plaza in Tharkata Township for the 1st time in Myanmar.

MSME Association (Yangon) will organize the Exhibition to bring together all MSMEs in Myanmar at once place, to get market penetration and investments, to exchange technological know-how with international and to promote MSMEs industry development in Myanmar.

President, MSMEs Association (Yangon), Aung Kyaw Soe said “It is the 1st edition in Myanmar and we invited all MSMEs across the country, especially micro enterprises to participate at the expo. So, they will get market penetration by joining the exhibition. Especially, packaging system and technologies are really needed for MSMEs industry in Myanmar.”

The exhibition will be held from 31st January to 2nd February from 9am to 5pm. Around 250 booths across the country including Mandalay, Sagaing and Pathein are going to display local products, clothes, cosmetics, shoes, medicine, foods, handmade products, educational services, travel &tours and many more items. One Tambon One Product from Thailand will be displayed and some SMEs from Asia and ASEAN countries will also participate at the 3-day Exhibition.

Organizer, Expo Organizing Committee, Soe Htaik Aung said “The Expo will be organized to promote MSMEs in Myanmar, to get opportunities for international economic relations and to provide enhancing the latest and good local products internationally. The development of MSMEs is very important because 90% of economic organizations in Myanmar are MSMEs.”

The Expo is not just the trade show but to enhance the interaction among MSMEs in Myanmar. Special activities, talk show and game programs will be included and famous artists will entertain at the exhibition.
