Myanmar / Bangladesh: Deputy Prime Minister receives Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Dr. Md. Monwar Hossain, Ambassador-designate of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Tuesday afternoon. 

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on further consolidation of bilateral relations between the two countries, expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas including bilateral trade, investment and connectivity, successful implementation of repatriation of verified displaced persons from Rakhine State as well as regional and international matters of common interest.
