Oxygen Plant & X-Ray Room: Fulfilling the needs of public health care services

Minhla Oxygen plant in Magway region is operating daily to distribute oxygen to not only wards but also villages in township.  In 2020-2021 fiscal year, the Oxygen Plant was constructed with the regional government fund and public fund in the compound of Minhla People’s Hospital and it has being operated.

Dr San San Moe, Department of Public Health, MinHla, said " Minhla Oxygen Plant was constructed on 22nd August 2021 with 127.19 million kyats budget of Magway region government and public fund. This oxygen plant fulfills the needs of public health care services and requirement of oxygen in Minhla township."

Likewise, RC X-ray room is being under construction with 42 million kyats of union fund. 

Kyi Lwin, Local, Minhla, said " It’s convenience for locals because the government fulfills the needs in Minhla township like providing oxygen plant and x-ray room and also the locals from nearby places can get oxygen from this oxygen plant."

During the COVID-19 global pandemic, locals went to Magway and Pauk townships for oxygen and at present, it is easy to get oxygen for locals from Minhla Oxygen Plant.
