Paper reading session: MoALI UM attended the opening ceremony

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung attended the opening ceremony of paper reading session on livestock breeding organized by the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department at the meeting hall of Office No (36) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 24th April.

In his opening remark, the Union Minister urged to make effort to study and utilize advanced technologies by the researchers and professionals and implement the practical applicable research works collaborated by the relevant departments, livestock breeding entrepreneurs and farmers simultaneously. Next, the Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, guests and authors took the documentary group photo and viewed the livestock breeding exhibition booths.

At the second part of the ceremony, Director General Dr. Ye Tun Win of the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department clarified the objectives of conducting paper reading session, implementation for the capacity development of personnel and the rules of judgements for paper reading session. Then, the authors read the research papers and answered the questions raised by the attendees and the first day of paper reading session was concluded.
