People pay respects at site of Tel Aviv attack

People laid flowers and candles on Saturday next to photos of an Italian tourist who was killed in a Palestinian attack in Tel Aviv. The Italian was killed when a car rammed into a group of tourists.Five other Italian and British citizens were wounded in the incident.

A Tel Aviv resident said everyone was "appalled" by the violence.The spasm of violence in Israel and the West Bank heightened fears of an even more intense surge, with the rare convergence of the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, the Jewish Passover holiday and Easter currently underway.
