Performing Arts Competition: 2nd Day of 24th Myanmar T.C.P.A Competitions continued

The second day of 24th Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competitions took place at the designated places in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 25th October.

At the 24th Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competition, the classes of contestants are specified as amateur level (first class), amateur level (second class), higher education level, basic education level (aged 15 to 20), basic education level (aged 10 to 15).

“Maha Gita” singing competitions for amateur level (second class) and basic education level (aged 10 to 15) were held in Banquet Hall of Myanmar International Convection Centre-2. “Kar la paw tay” (modern song) singing competitions for amateur level (second class) men, amateur level (first class) women, higher education level men were held in the Signing Room of the Myanmar International Convention Centre-2. Dance competition for Amateur level (second class) men, basic education level women aged 15 to 20, higher education level women were held in the Plenary Hall of MICC-2. Composing competitions for basic education level aged 15 to 20, amateur level (second class) were held in Yin KyayHmu Yadanar hall of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

The Piano competitions for amateur level (second class) men, amateur level (second class) women and basic education level men aged 10-15 were held at News Briefing Room of MICC-2. Harp competitions for amateur level (first class) men, amateur level (second class) women, and basic education level women aged 15 to 20, basic education level men aged 10 to 15 and basic education level men aged 10 to 15 were held at the Mini Theatre of the National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw).

Long drum (Ohe Si) competitions for amateur level (first class) men, basic education level men aged 15-20, amateur level (second class) men were held at WunzinMinYaza hall of the National Library in Nay Pyi Taw. Myanmar orchestra group competitions for amateur level (first class) women, amateur level (first class) men and amateur level (second class) women were held at the training theatre of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

In the “Yote Sone” theatrical group competition of amateur level (first class), the “PyinNyar Shwe Ohe” play competition was held at the Yin KyayHmu Yadanar hall of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. “Jataka or Zattawgyi” theatrical performing troupe competition of “Mahosadha” Jataka for amateur level (first class) was held at the training theatre of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. State Administration Council Members, Union-level officials, Deputy Ministers, Ministers for Ethnic Affairs and Ministers for Social Affairs of regions and states, Advocates-General and officials attended the competitions.
