Religious Affairs:Meeting for Maha Kathina Donation Ceremony

Tanintharyi Region Government on Monday held a coordination meeting for the 13th collective Maha Kathina donation ceremony.

In this meeting at the regional governmental office in Dawei Township, Chief Minister U Myat Ko said that since the Maha Kathina donation ceremony is a religious event held every year, it is possible to make it in accordance with Myanmar customs and traditions.

It is a good deed that the Regional government, the departments and the public make together, the Chief Minister added.

And, the meeting discussed matters including funds, offertories, transport, invitation, release of information, healthcare and security. Then, the Chief Minister coordinated the discussions.
