Social Welfare Services: Inspection in Yamethin and Meikhtila Districts

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win visited the Yamethin District Office of the Disaster Management Department and the relief item warehouse on Saturday.

After receiving updates on ongoing relief measures and assessing the storage conditions of relief items, the Union Minister provided instructions and inspected the warehouse.

Following this, the Union Minister visited the Pre-school and Social Welfare Department Office, where reports on the work undertakings were presented. He also met with the staff, emphasizing the importance of adhering to rules and regulations for civil servants.

The Union Minister then arrived at the Home for the Aged in Pyaw Bwe, where cash and foodstuff were provided to support the elderly residents. They then proceeded to Meikhitla, where inspections were conducted at the District Office of the Disaster Management Department, Relief Items Warehouse, Social Welfare Department Office, and the Pre-school.

During the inspection, the Union Minister met with staff, emphasizing the importance of worksite safety measures.
