Spanish parliament approves new term for Sanchez as PM

Spain's Socialist leader Pedro Sanchez was re-elected as the country's prime minister with the support of 179 lawmakers in the 350-seat parliament.
The vote comes amid division in Spain, sparked by an amnesty deal made by Sanchez with Catalan separatist leaders in exchange for their support. Sanchez's Socialist party finished second in a July general election, but reached deals with several smaller parties.
