On November 23rd, Major General Zaw Min Tun, the leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council, provided updates on the situation in Myanmar.

The Major General reported on the ongoing efforts in border areas aimed at ensuring the rule of law, peace, and stability. Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun addressed the issue of rumors circulating, specifically those claiming military columns stationed at schools in Yangon.

He clarified the situation and emphasized the importance of dispelling misinformation. Furthermore, the Major General outlined recent drop bomb attacks by MNDAA and TNLA terrorists at the Seven HuajinCargo Truck Terminal near Kaung Khan Village in Muse.

Regarding the ongoing armed conflicts, Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun provided insights into armed exchanges in Shan State (North), Kayah State, and Rakhine State. Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun stressed that the recent spread of various rumors and disinformation mirrored the tactics employed by the former Communist Party of Burma.

Major General Zaw Min Tun emphasized the government's commitment to addressing challenges and maintaining peace and stability in the country.
