Work Undertakings in Kachin State: Regional Work Committee meeting and sports encouragement

A work coordination meeting was held by the Kachin State Regional Work Committee for the implementation of development projects in border areas and for ethnic communities during the 2024-2025 fiscal year on October 21st.
Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan emphasized the importance of proposing projects that genuinely benefit development efforts and urged everyone to adhere to the committee's guidelines under the leadership of the Central Committee.
Officials presented their work plans covering infrastructure development, education, health, human resources, agriculture, livestock, natural resources, energy and electricity, transportation, communications, tourism, religion, culture, rural development, social welfare, and vocational education.
The Chief Minister instructed a systematic prioritization of projects and the drafting of plans for small-scale hydropower projects in Off-Grid areas.
Following the meeting, the Chief Minister paid a visit to the State Sports and Physical Education Department, where he provided encouragement to athletes undergoing camp training in preparation for the 2023 Regions and States Sports Tournament.
Since October 1st, selected athletes from Kachin State have been engaged in training for aerobics, Sepak Takraw, and Taekwondo. The Chief Minister encouraged all participants to strive for success and offered financial assistance.
