World Children’s Day : Commemorative ceremony celebrated in Dawei

On Monday, a World Children’s Day ceremony took place at Dawei City Hall in Taninthayi Region.

Chief Minister U MyatKo attended the event and delivered a speech emphasizing the crucial role children play in shaping the future of a country. He highlighted the strides made in providing a more secure environment for children, attributing these improvements to the prioritization of the education and health sectors for the younger generation.

The Chief Minister called for the cooperation of all concerned personnel to ensure that children fully enjoy their rights. The ceremony continued with the screening of a video clip dedicated to World Children’s Day, followed by entertaining programs performed by Kindergarten students.
