Collective blood donation: Mon State YMBA held collective blood donation

Honoring the 79th Anniversary Armed Forces Day which will fall on 27th March 2024, Mon State Young Men’s Buddhist Association organized the collective blood donation ceremony at the blood bank of Mawlamyaing General Hospital in the morning on 26th March where the Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein accompanying the State Ministers and officials from Mon State YMBA was in attendance.

The Chief Minister and party viewed around the activities of measuring body weight and blood pressure, blood type classification and the needy medical checkups for the blood donors; the members of YMBA by the senior medical doctors and nurses from Mawlamyaing General Hospital and made encouragement.

The Chief Minister and party then provided vitamins, eggs and supplements for the blood donors followed by presenting the certificate of honor upon the collective blood donation of Mon State YMBA honoring the upcoming 79th Anniversary Armed Forces Day. Totaling 90 members of Mon State YMBA participated in the contributions held at Mawlamyaing General Hospital and No.5 300 Bedded Tatmadaw Hospital respectively.
