It’s found out that as the public is concerned about the recent rumors on social media that there will be a shortage of fuel oil, and some people are buying more than their normal consumption and greedily buying to resell for profits, there were some temporary sales suspensions at gas stations before the arrival of the refueling bowsers.

On the 11th of December, about 2 million gallons of fuel oil were distributed to gas stations in the Union Territory, Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon Region and Mandalay Region. Due to the current state of domestic fuel oil balance and the continuous flow of fuel oil ordered from abroad, there is no shortage of fuel oil in the country, and the public will be able to buy and use without having to worry.

Those who repeatedly queued up at gas stations to resell and illegally stored and sold were investigated and legal actions were taken effectively in accordance with the law. As for the people, if they find such activities, they can report to region/state supervising inspectors, it’s reported.
