Nat’l Victory Day observed: Shan State CM attended the commemoration ceremony

A ceremony to commemorate the 103rd Anniversary of National Victory Day was held at the Daw Khin Thein Hall of No.1 Basic Education High School in Taunggyi Township of Shan State with the attendance of Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye.

The ceremony was inaugurated with the “Zartiman” song performed by the students from No. 7 Basic Education High School of Taunggyi. Then, the Chief Minister read a massage sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha TharaySithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing to the commemoration of the 103rd Anniversary of the National Victory Day.

Then, the Chief Minister, Chief justice of Region High Court and Region Ministers presented awards to the winners of High, Middle and Primary school level Essay, Poem and Drawing competitions marking the 103rd Anniversary of National Victory Day respectively.

Afterward, cash of honor provided by Chief Minister to the students from No (1), No (4) and No (7) Basic Education High Schools was presented by the Rector of Taunggyi University and the ceremony was concluded by the “Myanma Kyaung” song performed by the students.
