Opening of new hospital buildings: MoH UM and Bago Region CM attended

The opening ceremony of 5 storey-hospital building in People’s Hospital in Pyay Township of Bago Region in the morning on January 5 with the presence of Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and responsible officials.

First, the Union Minister Region Chief Minister and Director General of the Department of Medical service opened the hospital building, sprinkled the inscription with scented water and took the documentary group photo.

in his opening remark, the Union Minister said that the Ministry of Health is implementing 2 objectives such as to enable every citizen to attain full life expectancy and enjoy longevity of life and to ensure that every citizen is free from diseases by drafting working plans to implement the one of the social objectives of the State Administration Council: to enhance health and sports sectors inclusive of all the people to enhance the longevity and health of the entire nation as well as extension and upgrading of hospitals to improve the quality of medical service.

In addition to opening of this new five storey-hospital building, the new hospital buildings in Pandaung, LetBaDan, KyoPinKauk and Nattalin Townships.

Next, the Bago Region Chief Minister gave a congratulatory speech and the staff officer of Bago Region Department of Medical Service Dr. Thiha and medical superintendent of Pyay People’ Hospital Dr. Thida Soe presented gifts in commemoration of opening ceremony to the special guests and expressed words of thanks.

Afterward, the Union Minister, Chief Minister and guest viewed round the Emergency and OPD, Medical diagnostic imaging department, operation theaters, special care units, operation ward, meeting hall and Pay patient rooms and gave necessary instruction. In the afternoon, the Union Minister, region Chief Minister and party attended the opening ceremony of new two-storey hospital building in Pandaung Township and inspected around newly opened hospital building.
