Preparations for Kyauk Phyu SEZ: Implementation of Deep Sea Port Project in Kyauk Phyu

A meeting on the preparations by Myanmar and Chinese sides for implementation of the Deep Sea Port Project of Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone was conducted at the Ministry of Commerce on Friday.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Body, Union Minister for Union Government office (1) U Aung Naing Oo, Deputy Minister,Chairman and members of Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone Management Committee, officials from Rakhine State government and its relevant departments via online and offline.

At the meeting, the Union Minister gave instruction for timely completion of the Deep Sea Port Project in cooperation with its relevant organizations. This was followed by a general round of discussion by the officials from relevant organizations.
