Public Healthcare: SAC members visit People’s Hospital in Myitkyina

Members of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu and Dr. Hmu Htan as well as Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win visited the Myitkyina People’s Hospital.

There, in the meeting with the state/district/township-level healthcare experts and workers, the SAC Member Daw Dwe Buexpressed words of thanks for healthcare services to the public and pledged to provide aid to the Hospital. In his part, Union Minister Dr. Thet Khaing Win highlighted the Ministry’s efforts including hospitals upgrade, infrastructure construction, medicines and equipment providing for the public healthcare services.

Medicines and medical supplies supported by the state must be used for the benefit of the local people, the Union Minister added. And, attendees reported on requirements and the Union Minister fulfilled.
