Regional Development :Reopening of upgraded Mya Kan Thar Park in Taunggyi

Reopening of the upgraded Mya Kan Thar Park was held with the attendance of Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-General Tun Tun Naung, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, Deputy Minister and concerned officials at the park in Taunggyi Township of Shan State on Wednesday.

First, the Union Minister and officials cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the ceremony. Then, they sprinkled scented water on the Park Signboard and presented cash awards to the performance troupes.

Then, the Union Minister, State Chief Minister, Deputy Minister, and State Advocate General planted African Tulip sapling to mark the ceremony. Then, the Union Minister and party viewed around the art gallery of the park and looked round the upgrade projects of the park such as construction of arch, path and bridges, pool and retaining walls, lawn and seasonal flower plantations, installation of outdoor fitness equipment and creation of beautiful scenery for visitors.
