Shan State Day Celebration: SAC members participate in the celebration in Taunggyi

The 77th Shan State Day ceremony was celebrated at Ahweiyar hot air balloon ground in Taunggyi Township on Wednesday with the attendance by Chief Minister U Aung Aung.
On this special occasion, State Administration Council member Khun San Lwin firstly read out the message sent by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. This was followed by the speech delivered by the Shan State Chief Minister.
Then, the State Administration Council members Dr. Ba Shwe and Khun San Lwin, Union Ministerfor Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung and the Shan State Chief Minister cut the ceremonial ribbon at the inauguration of booths in commemoration of 77th Shan State Day. They later viewed around the booths showcasing the ethnic traditional food, departmental information and MSMEs.
In the subsequent ceremony, the recipients of honorary title were awarded, as well as the outstanding winners at the hot air balloon photo contest at Taunggyi hot air balloon festival were presented prizes respectively. During the ceremony, Chief Minister U Aung Aung received the assistance of sports equipment presented by the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs.
