S.Korean Gov’t to take judicial action against doctors' actions

Emergency departments in the biggest hospitals in South Korea have been squeezed since the protest began on Tuesday.

The protest of trainee doctors led to the highest public health alert, raising fears about further disruption to the medical system.The South Korean government is preparing for rapid judicial processing regarding collective actions by doctors.  A meeting was conducted on Sunday, along with discussion to respond to doctors' strike.

At the previous disaster management meeting, the Prime Minister renewed a call to the young doctors not to tarnish by their actions the memory of their sacrifice and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic.
