Sport Sector: Interdepartmental volleyball competition

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation held the interdepartmental volleyball competition as the 76th Independence Day welcome event. Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi attended an awarding ceremony for the competition at the Yezin Agricultural University.

The Agricultural Mechanization Department team won the final match. Before the awarding ceremony, the Deputy Minister gave a speech, stressing that this competition is the preliminary selection for the inter-ministry competition.

By taking part in sports competition, employees will be more physically active and will reduce stress from the workplace. Volleyball is one of the sports that brings unity and mutual understanding, the Deputy Minister added. And, gifts and awards were presented to judges, the Best Player, the 3rd prize winning team, 2nd prize winning team and 1st winning team.
