Strengthening Educational Infrastructure: Visit to university & schools in Mawlamyine

Union Minister for Education, Dr. Nyunt Pe visited Mawlamyine University on Wednesday, to inspect university facilities, aimed at fostering academic excellence and research advancement. He inspected the Microbiology Practical Room and Marine Science Department, providing the requirements.

He also inspected the lecture rooms, University Library, and the ongoing construction of the University Research Center, emphasizing the importance of state-of-the-art infrastructure in facilitating quality education and research endeavors.

In a meeting with the Rector, Pro-Rector, and Professors, Dr. Nyunt Pe underscored the importance of elevating the institution to a research-based university status. He urged collective efforts towards conducting exemplary research through robust collaboration and coordination among faculty members.

Later in the day, the Union Minister visited basic education schools in Mawlamyine, where he addressed their needs. Encouraging students to maintain a diligent study ethic to achieve their aspirations, he emphasized the significance of heeding the guidance provided by their teachers.
