Terrorist Attack: Remote mine attack on Mandalay-Yangon passenger train

The KNLA and PDF terrorists launched a remote mine attack on the Mandalay-Yangon passenger train DF/2083 from the left and right sides of the railway between the mile post No. 103/24 and 401/1 about 7,500 meters southeast of Kyauktaga Township at about 3:45 am on Wednesday.

No one was injured in the attack which destroyed about 18 feet of the left and right of the railway and 20 rail sleepers. Repair works are underway by the Myanma Railway and investigation is underway to arrest the terrorists.
