35th Anniversary of GAD:Rakhine State CM attended the celebration

The celebration of 35th Anniversary of the General Administration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs was held at Khin Thazin Hall in Sittwe Township of Rakhine State in the afternoon on 7th November and attended by the Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, State government members, departmental officials and personnel from the General Administration Department.

In his opening remark, the Chief Minister U Htein Lin said that the General administration department is a salient department in establishing people-centered administrative mechanism to implement the national and political objectives successfully, in rendering service making direct contact with the people, it’s needed to be complied with the law, by-law and procedures.

Next, the Rakhine State administrator of the General Administration department U Kyaw Thu Zaw clarified the history of the department. Then, the Chief Minister and the responsible officials awarded the prizes to the outstanding personnel of Rakhine State General administration department, the staff members of the department presented with the dances and the Chief Minister and officials enjoyed the dances.
