Departure for China: To attend the Global Sustainable Transport Forum

The Myanmar delegation, led by Member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo departed from Yangon for China to attend the Global Sustainable Transport Forum.

The forum is scheduled to be held in Beijing from the 25th to the 26th of September, following an invitation from Chinese Transport Minister Mr. Li Xiaopeng. They were bid farewell at Yangon International Airport by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Zaw Hein, members of the Regional Government, and officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and the Ministry.
