Diamond Jubilee celebrations: Meeting to hold Diamond Jubilee Independence Day

The work coordination meeting on organizing the 75th Anniversary of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day which falls on January 4th, 2023 and the 75th Anniversary of Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day which falls on January 10th was held at the state government office Malikha Hall in Myitkyina in the morning on December 27 with the attendance of state chief minister U Khet Htein Nan.

At the meeting, the chief minister called for organizing Diamond Jubilee Independence Day and Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day in grand scale with the essence of the significant days for the country and the state.

Next, the state ministers, state level departmental officials and leaders of national races literature and culture committees reported the agenda and programs to be conducted at the celebrations of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day and Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day, sports contests, fun fairs, displaying exhibition booths of MSMEs and presenting certificates and medals to those who have performed excellent works for the country and the state.

Regarding with the reports and discussions, the chief minister fulfilled requirements to organize the celebrations significantly.
