Drug Cases: Narcotics Seized In Ban Mauk, Hopong And Bhomo

Members of Police from Leik Saw police outpost seized 0.06 kilo of heroin hidden in 6 soap cases putting polyethylene bag while searching Aung Naing Oo near Shwe Kyaung village in Ban Mauk Township, Saturday, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Likewise, a combined team of Anti-Narcotics Drug Squad seized 20,000 stimulant tablets while checking a Crown car driven by Sai Laung on Hopong-Loi Lin motor road in Hopong Township on the same day.

Members of police from Bhamo Myama Police Station confiscated more than 9,000 stimulant pills and 0.2 gram of heroin while searching a motorcycle driven by Myint Kyaw at Sint Kin bridge, Naung Kho ward in Bhamo. Actions were taken against the suspects under the Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law.
