Human Resource Development: MOST Union Minister visits the universities in Lashio

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw and concerned officials visited Technological University and Government Technical High School in Lashio on 22nd September, and met with the Pro-Rector, principal, teachers and staff.

During the meeting, Union Minister heard reports on works undertaking and provided necessary instructions on research activities for human resource development to achieve regional progress through manufacturing industries.

He also instructed the administrative matters, face-lifting the characteristics of the universities, cleanliness, beautification and creating a good environment for students for effective learning.

On the 23rd, they arrived at the University of Computer Studies (Lashio), and instructed the need to focus on effective usage of ICT and continuous learning by using Learning Management System.

During the inspection, the Union Minister inspected the classrooms, practical learning of the students, computer rooms, library, infrastructures and dormitories, and coordinated the requirements. He also urged all to participate in an effort for development of the country by turning out qualified human resources.
