Jade And Jewelry Sales: First Jade And Jewelry Sales Exhibition In Local Currency

The first jade and jewelry sales exhibition in local currency began on Wednesday at Mandalay Convention Center in Mandalay. Mandalay Region Chief Minister Dr. Zaw Myint Maung and many other officials formally opened the raw jade stones, jade carvings, and jewelry sales exhibition.

In his address, the Chief Minister stressed responsibility and management in gem extraction. Over 2,950 jade lots are sold at this exhibition under the open tender system. There are also over 40 jade stalls for product display and sales. This first jade and jewelry sales exhibition in local currency is set to run till the 29th of October from 7 am to 5 pm.
