Medicine Imported: Imported from India estimated value of 171.565 million US

Myanmar imported the medicines and related products from other 91 foreign countries and mostly imported from India with estimated value of 171.565 million dollars in 2022-2023 fiscal years, according to the Ministry of Commerce.  

Min Min, Director, Ministry of Commerce, said " Myanmar imported the medicines and related products from foreign countries with value of 344.060 million dollars in 2021-2022 fiscal years and about 404.419 million dollars till 30th October 2022-2023 fiscal years. There are 91 foreign countries of medicine importers and mostly imported from India with value of 171.565 million dollars. Also medicines and related products imported worth 53.137 million dollars from China and 44.129 million dollars from Thailand."

Myanmar imported the medicines and their related products by sea and border trade from China, Thailand, French, Korea, Indonesia and other countries.
