Myanmar / Russia: Bilateral cooperation for cancer treatment

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win on Thursday evening received Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, member of St. Petersburg Government Mr. Grigoriev Evgeny Dmitrievich. The meeting at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw focused on issues related to the increasing incidence of cancer worldwide, technology exchange, experience exchange and human resource development for modern cancer treatment activities, joint medical treatment, medical treatment to cancer patients in Myanmar using cancer treatment drugs from Russia, medical science conferences and meetings between the two countries and further cooperation in the medical education sector of the two countries.
