Paying Respects: Tatmadaw families paid respect to retired military officers

Families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) paid respects to retired senior military officers who attended the 79th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Parade at the ZeyathiriBeikman in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 27th March.

It was attended by 16 retired military personnel and 10 wives, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and their wives led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife DawKyuKyuHla, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Vice Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General MaungMaung Aye and wife paid respects to those retired senior military officers and their wives.

On the occasion, the Senior General said that in accordance with the tradition of the Tatmadaw, they are those who have inherited the responsibilities from generation to generation, and the retired military personnel who attended the ceremony are also their parents and teachers. Tatmadaw safeguarded the country from the dangers of collapse in consecutive eras.

For the time being, Tatmadaw is serving the State responsibilities in line with the State constitution (2008). Some EAOs are committing the terrorist activities by giving reasons of ethnic and political affairs. Tatmadaw is containing in conformity with the law to avoid from the disintegration of the national unity and disintegration of the Union.Afterwards, the Senior General and wife, and senior military officers and their wives on behalf of the families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) paid respects to retired military personnel in line with the Myanmar traditions.

On behalf of the retired senior military officers, General Thein Sein, Col. NyuntSwe and Lt-Gen Aung Htwe gave words of advice.The Senior General and wife, the Vice-Senior General and wife and senior military officers in person presented gifts to the retired military officers respectfully.

Then, the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services and Tatmadaw Senior officials took a documentary group photo together with the retired Senior Tatmadaw officials and wives. After that, the Senior General and wife cordially greeted the retired senior military officers and their wives attended the ceremony.
