Technological Advancements : MOST Union Minister oversees educational infrastructure

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw on November 18th visited the construction site of the Government Technical Institute in Taunggyi. During the inspection, he emphasized the importance of timely completion and adherence to set standards.

Then, the Union Minister and party visited the University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi), engaging with the Pro-rector, faculties, and staff. The focus of discussions centered on the necessity of continuous learning opportunities using information and communication technology through a learning management system.

On the 19th, the Union Minister and party visited the Technological University, Government Technical Institute, and Government Technical High School in Kyaukse. During the visit, the Union Minister stressed the significance of providing both theoretical and practical training to support regional development and enhance employment opportunities.

Additionally, the Union Minister visited the Bio-Technology Research Department, reviewing ongoing research projects and coordinating necessary resources. The inspection covered various aspects, including lecture rooms, practical rooms, computer facilities, teaching aid equipment, workshops, sports grounds, and hostels.

During the inspection, the Union Minister instructed to make efforts towards cleaning and beautifying the school surroundings to create a conducive and improved learning environment.
