Tuesday Talk: MoC Union Minister attended the event

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn gave opening remarks at Tuesday Talk which was organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw on 7th November.
During the discussion, Assistant Director of the Department of Consumenr Affairs discussed the vital role of coffee, implementations for the development of coffee, situations on Myanmar coffee plantation and exporting, and local/international coffee market and prices under the title “Myanmar coffee production and trading”.
Also, the Deputy Director of the department added explanation of coffee market around the world and Asian regions.
Then, the Union Minister instructed the needs on holding discussions for the improvement of knowledge and skills of officials and staff, striving to get good price in local/international coffee market and issuing export licenses as fast as possible to boost export sector of the country.
It’s reported that altogether 195 officials and staff from the Department of Consumer Affairs in regions and states attended the Tuesday Talk.
