Awarding Medals of Honor: Mon State CM attended ceremony of awarding medals

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, Lt-Gen. Nyunt Win Swe from the Office of the Commander In Chief, Commander of South-East Command Brigadier General Soe Min and officials met with the members of local militia forces in Mon State in the morning on 29th January.

At the meeting, the Commander of South-East Command gave a remark and the Lt-Gen. Nyunt Win Swe from the Office of the Commander In Chief, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and Commander of South-East Command Brigadier General Soe Min coordinated requirements in responding to the reports of the members of local militia forces, provided cash assistance, rice, cooking oil, foodstuff and commodities and the responsible officials accepted and the members of local militia forces were cordially greeted.

Mon State Chief Minister, Chief Justice of State High Court, State government ministers and students from Sports and Physical Education College (Mawlamyaing) attended the special luncheon hosted at the college in the morning on the same day.

First, the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein gave a remark, provided 0.5 million Kyats of cash assistance, the principal of the Sports and Physical Education College (Mawlamyaing) expressed words of thanks and enjoyed the luncheon together with the students. At the college, in 2023-2024 academic year, a total of 112 students are studying in 6 kinds of sports including 19 from Kayin State, 18 from Taninthayi Region, 75 from Mon State.

After that, the Chief Minister and party attended the ceremony of awarding medals of honor and promotion of advance position to the members of Mon State Police Force hedl at the State Hall in Mawlamyaing.

First, the Chief Minister gave the words of honor for the members of Mon State Police Force who are awarded the medals of honor for serving the State duties gallantly at Chaung-Hna-Khwa local police station and Athtaran bridge (Chaung-Hna-Khwa).

Next, the Commander of South-East Command extended words of honor and the Chief Minister, Commander of South-East Command, Chief Justice of State High Court and State ministers mounted the insignia of advance position and presented medals of honor.
