Field Medical Service: SSB renders field medical service to the ministries’ staff

In commemoration of 76th Anniversary Independence Day, the Social Security Board under the Ministry of Labour provides health care services to the staff entitled to the SSB Scheme in Nay Pyi Taw Council area.

On Wednesday, the Mobile Medical Unit renders the essential healthcare services including lab tests and ECG scans to the staff of the Ministry of Immigration and Population. Their activities were oversaw by Union Ministers U Myint Kyaing and U Myint Naung.

The Social Security Board has been implementing the social security project covering over 1.2 million registered insured workers and providing healthcare services using 3 social security hospitals, 96 township social security clinics, 60 departmental clinics, 54 contract clinics, another 23 contract clinics providing the Specialist OG OPD, 12 labour rooms of contract hospital giving maternity services and 1 traditional medicine clinic as well as Mobile Medical Units.

It is learnt that, field medical services are going to be provided for the SSB insured workers from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Electric Power, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Labor up till 15th of January.
