Opening advanced sports training: MoSYA UM gave an opening speech

With the aim at the students and youth in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw to spend the time productively in the summer holidays, the opening ceremony of 2024 Summer Advanced Sports Training was held at Shwe Kyar Pin Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw at 8 AM on 25th April.

In his opening speech, the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan said that the summer basic sports trainings have been opened for the students and youth in order to be interested in the sport and spend the time productively during the summer holidays. The potential trainees from those basic trainings will be given these summer advanced sports trainings with 11 sports to do further practices as per the sports with the correct techniques skillfully. The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs is giving the summer basic sports training in each region and State for the health and fitness of entire people and the development of five strengths for the future generation etc.

Next, the Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo gave the words of encouragement for the youth of sports trainees.

After reciting sports vows by the training, demonstrating Taekwondo by students from Future Stars Philanthropic School in Zabuthiri Township and Myanmar Martial Art by Sports Time Club and YGW in Pubbathiri Township, Union Minister provided sports materials and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman presented cash of honor to the demonstrated sports teams.
